Satko’s is a small resort with 8 cabins. All of our cabins are on the lake where you can look out your window and enjoy the view. We have 2 and 3 bedroom cabins available with double beds in each room, and sofa beds in each cabin. Cabins are equipped with air conditioning, a full kitchen, and a microwave. Outside each cabin has a charcoal grill and there are picnic tables for guest to use. A 14’ foot aluminum boat is also included in your rental.

Murphy Landing Resort began operations in 1950; its current owners, John and Mary Uradnik, bought the resort in 1976. Today, Murphy Landing is one of the few remaining classic “Mom and Pop” fishing resorts in northern Minnesota, with eleven updated modern cabins (four of which sit back on a small hill). The season at Murphy Landing runs from mid-May through September, with some guests returning for fall bird and deer hunting. The resort officially closes at the end of deer hunting season each year.

Buckhorn on Caribou is located in the Suomi Hills of the Chippewa National Forest. Originally established in 1938 as a small fishing and hunting camp, it was purchased by the Mangni’s in 1998 with the goal of building beautiful log lodges that would have room for larger groups. They owned a handcrafted log home construction company, (Top-Notch Log Homes), and once the sale was final they proceeded to build three beautifully hand-crafted, four bedroom log lodges each on their own 200 feet of lakeshore.
