No matter what time of the year you choose to visit Canal Park in Duluth, you will find plenty to do. This
area boasts tons of activity with excellent restaurants, entertainment for all tastes, lodging and a variety
of attractions visitors can enjoy. Located on the shore of Lake Superior, Canal Park offers plenty of
antique shops and quaint boutiques for the shopper looking for unique gifts.

The Canal Park area provides visitors with annual events such as Grandma’s Marathon, which begins in
Two Harbors, Minnesota and terminates in Canal Park, the Bayfront Blues Festival, The Park Point Art
Fair, Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival and more. Whether you are interested in the arts,

Historic and Educational Sites to Enjoy

Visit the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center and learn about the early days of the shipping industry
and the history of the area. You will also find the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge here, one of Duluth’s most
intriguing landmarks. This was the United States’ first of only two transporter bridges constructed in the
United States.

Canal Park is also the Gateway to Park Point. Take advantage of a stroll along the Duluth Lakewalk,
which connects the convention center and Bayfront Park. This favorite feature of Duluth has a 5-star
rating and is the second most popular activity people enjoy when visiting this historic city. Stroll along
the shore of Lake Superior for up to 7.25 miles.

A visit to Duluth is not complete until you take in the shops, sights and smells of Canal Park. Plan your
trip to this bustling area of Duluth today.
