Parts of northern Minnesota are past peak and leaves are falling fast but still plenty of vibrant colors to see all across the northern 1/3 of the state. Far northern MN around the border country is past peak but the Duluth/North Shore, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, Ely and much of North Central MN are booming right now!

The central 1/3 of MN is peaking right now, you will find great colors around the Detroit Lakes, Brainerd, Alexandria, Leech Lake, Duluth & Fergus Falls areas. Some locations are still not there yet but many of the maples are really starting to pop right now with the oaks lagging behind the rest. Now is a great time to take that Minnesota Fall vacation!

Southern MN is still a week or two away from peak colors but we have had cooler temps recently so things can change in a hurry as the fall beauty is sweeping across the state.
